Static/in-motion railway scale and axle-weigher
We refurbished and modernized the static scale at the railway station of Hatvan in 2016. The scale's functionality was extended with in-motion weighing capability and this scale became the first to have axle-weighing and asymmetry detection feature at the Hungarian Railways.
In-motion unbroken-rail sleeper scale
We installed an in-motion unbroken-rail sleeper scale in the sidetrack of ISD-Dunaferr steel plant in 2016, weighing the amount of slag carried by special cauldron wagons. The wagons are equipped with RFID units allowing our system to identify the wagons passing by the scale and to transmit the weighing data automatically to the customer's ERP system.
In-motion sleeper scale and axle-weigher
We installed an in-motion sleeper scale into the sidetrack of Perlmooser Kavics Ltd in 2015 with axle / wheel load weighing function and asymmetry detection. The automatic scale is equipped with traffic light, surveillance camera and optical wagon number recognition system.
We developed a customized web-based user interface allowing the operator to supervise the weighing process in real-time remotely via any web browser. The clear and easy-to-use interface alarms the operator in case of loading anomalies.
Static railcar axle-weigher
The AR-TDSP type broken-rail scale installed under the soot loader helps to control the amount of loaded soot by weighing the axle and wheel load.
The sensor area consists of digital load cells mounted on AR-ST type sleepers.
The system is equipped with touchscreen indicator and automatic event logging feature.
In-motion railcar axle-weigher
The AR-TDSP-type broken-rail scale installed in the transport rail nr. XXIX verifies the position of the payload and the compliance with the wagon loading limits via measurement of the wheel and axle loads.
The sensor area consists of digital load cells mounted on AR-ST type sleepers.
The integrated system includes an operator's PC with management software, IP-based video surveillance camera and optical wagon number recognition unit.
In-motion/static railcar scale
The heavy railway traffic in the harbour is measured in-motion by the AR-VSD scale system without disturbing the traffic. The AR-UNIDAT software suite provides remote supervision through the scale IT system and also generates the weighing reports automatically for the freight department.
Pitless static/in-motion railcar scale
Ready-mounted modules of the AR-VSD type scale were installed to Karcag station for the Hungarian Railways. The modules were lifted onto the prepared gravel bed. The scale measures the mass weight, axle and wheel load of the wagon statically and in-motion as well.
The system is equipped with PC station, surveillance webcam (AR-OSS) and optical wagon number recognition unit (AR-VIS-WNR).
Static railcar scale
A new ready-mounted AR-VSD type railcar scale was installed to Szentgotthárd railway station for GYSEV-Raaberbahn. The modules were lifted onto the prepared gravel bed.
The weighing data is available via the AR-UNIDAT software suite integrated into the railway company's IT network.
Integrated Scale System
The system provides automatic logging of the events on the static/in-motion truck scales, static truck scales, static railway scale and the high-speed in-motion scale operating in the cement factory.
The AR-UNIDAT software suite provides remote scale management and provides report generation feature, while the SecDIS software suite is responsible for the remote supervision.
High-speed In-Motion Sleeper Scale
A high-speed AR-ADSP type in-motion scale was installed on the main sidetrack of Lafarge Cement Ltd in 2010. The unbroken-rail scale consists of special sleepers with built-in load cells. It is suitable for high-speed weighing.
The sleepers are EU certified, the weighing accuracy is guaranteed by EC certificate.
The integrated system includes an operator's PC with management software, IP-based video surveillance camera and optical wagon number recognition unit.
Railway and Truck Scale with Integrated Entry Control System
We deployed an in-motion AR-VSD railcar scale with operator's PC to the freight station and 2 static truck scales and axle weighers one per direction to the truck entrance of the intermodal logistics centre created between Győr and Gönyü as part of an EU project in 2007.
The integrated truck scale system consists of traffic lights, barriers for each line, optical plate number recognition and surveillance cameras.
Integrated Scale System (Weighing in Motion)
We created the integrated truck-railcar scale system on the site of ÓAM Steel Works Ltd in 2006 including the in-motion railcar scale installed into the factory's sidetrack, 2 pcs of static truck scale at the truck entrance and the reception desk's entry control and management system.
The solution includes a surveillance camera system recording every weighing event automatically and assigning the video clips to the weighing tickets; per wagon in case of train. Every detail of the weighing traffic can be traced via the WEB interface developed by ARDIN.
Standalone Motor Truck Scale System
A new electronic static truck scale with management software suite was installed beside the existing mechanical scale at the Hajdúnánás site of Tedej Zrt in 2005. The system was equipped with traffic light and card reader unit enabling the automatic weighing process without operator.
